ALEX KAWAMOTO

From Yamaguchi Prefecture – a professional dancer and choreographer of American/Japanese heritage.

He began dancing at the age of 13, inspired by a performance he saw on television. At 18, he moved to Tokyo and has since performed as a back-up dancer for numerous well-known artists, including Momoiro Clover Z, Miliyah Kato, Naomi Watanabe, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, BABYMETAL, EXIT, and Fujii Kaze, appearing in live shows, TV performances, and music videos.

He has also expanded his work as a choreographer, including for Fujii Kaze’s “Matsuri” MV. In addition, he played Mr. Pinky in the 2022 musical “Hairspray” and serves as a judge in Japan’s first professional dance league, D.LEAGUE.

He is currently active as a dancer, choreographer, model, and talent, showcasing his versatility across multiple fields.

His credits include high-profile collaborations with global artists such as Jolin Tsai, Jin Akanishi, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, and Fujii Kaze.

He also has experience as a choreographer, most notably for Fujii Kaze's music video “Matsuri,” and has appeared in commercials, runway shows, music videos, and television programs. His work spans both commercial and artistic realms, and she brings precision, creativity, and a bold presence to every project.
