Born in Texas, USA.
Came to Japan as an exchange student in 1995.

Studied Japanese at Nagoya Gakuin University until September 1996 and graduated from the advanced Japanese course in the same year.
From 1996 to 1997, studied Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido at Omori Dojo in Osone, Aichi Prefecture.
Returned to the United States in 1997 and graduated from Pacific University in Oregon in May 1998 with degrees in Music (Composition-focused) and Japanese.

In 1998, became a special research student at Yamanashi Gakuin University.
The same year, made a radio debut as a navigator on FM Kofu (YBS Yamanashi Broadcasting).
In 1999, made a TV debut on TBS’s "Koko ga Hen da yo Nihonjin(ここが変だよ、日本人)", a project by director Takeshi Kitano.
That same year, co-hosted "Shinmei Fireworks Special" on UTY (TV Yamanashi) with announcer Ryoko Natori.
The hosting performance was well-received, leading to an invitation from the same station the following year (2000) to appear as a reporter/commentator on the live program "Uttei na Mokuyoubi (ウッテイな木曜日)"

Currently based in Tokyo, actively working as an MC, narrator, translator/interpreter, and TV/radio personality in five-star hotels (The Peninsula Tokyo, Hotel New Otani, Conrad, Shangri-La Tokyo, The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo, Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay, etc.), first-class restaurants, clubs, and venues.
Known for excellent ad-lib conversations, interviews, and lively hosting in fluent Japanese.

Since 2020, has been a regular MC on TV Asahi's "Catch the Wave Kodawari Navi(Catch the wave こだわりナビ)."
