She has served as a studio partner for NHK language programs such as “Basic English 1” (2016–) and “Radio English Conversation” (2018–), and has also worked as a skit narrator for NHK High School courses.

Her narration work extends to NHK WORLD programs like “Spiritual Explorers” and “Close-Up Gendai”, as well as numerous corporate VPs for clients including Shiseido Professional “SUBLIMIC”, NTT, MUFG, Fujitsu, and NHK Technical Research Institute. She has also provided character voices for the game “Soul of the Ultimate Nation” and narration for ALC’s Hearing Marathon series, showcasing her versatility.

Her Japanese is so fluent that listeners often mistake her for a native; she even obtained Japanese citizenship in 2021. Beyond language, she has studied tea ceremony for over 10 years and is skilled in kimono dressing, making her a graceful and elegant presence.

Born in California, USA, and naturalized as a Japanese citizen in 2021. A UCLA graduate with a major in Japanese, she was captivated by traditional Japanese culture and moved to Japan after college to pursue acting in Japanese.

She has extensive experience as a bilingual actress, appearing in TV dramas, variety programs, and commercials, while also working as a model, narrator, and interpreter. She is passionate about sharing the beauty of traditional Japanese gestures and culture with the world as a certified “Shigusa Bijin” (Elegant Gesture) specialist.
