日本人の母とイギリス人の父を持つ。イギリスと日本で数々のイベントに出演してきたが、現在は生まれ故郷の東京に活動の拠点を移し、バンド ’LICKS‘ でのボーカリストやソロシンガーとして活躍中。これまでにリリースされたI-DEP, SOUL SOURCE PRODUCTION, TOSHIYUKI GOTO, DJ HIMUKI等へフィーチャリングした楽曲はオーディエンスにも評価が高い。シンガーソングライターとして自身の曲を制作し、各国のプロデューサーとアルバムのレコーディングも進行中である。その他インターFMのDJガイ?ペリマンのポッドキャスト番組‘Supersonic UK’やWHISKY LIVE JAPANで司会をする傍ら、イベントや各種パーティーでのバイリンガルMC、海外アーティストの通訳、コマーシャルや映画でのナレーション等活動の幅は広い。

Bilingual Japanese/British singer-songwriter Mari Stone has been wowing audiences with her explosive soulful live performances both in the UK and in her birthplace Japan since she began her musical career, and continues to do so to this day - both as vocalist of band, ‘LICKS’ and a solo artist. Her recently released works with producers such as I-DEP, SOUL SOURCE PRODUCTION, TOSHIYUKI GOTO, DJ HIMUKI have also earned her the respect of peers and critics alike, while currently working with UK producers on her solo album. Combined with her work in other areas of the industry such as co-hosting pod-cast show ‘Supersonic UK’ with Inter FM DJ Guy Perryman, host Mcing at events and functions, such as WHISKY LIVE JAPAN, interpreting and doing voiceover work for TV commercials and film, Mari is fast proving her worth as a multi-talented entertainer.
